Before you Book

Yes. Weddings require an extra amount of specialty and care. We will do a venue tour and take the time to discuss exactly what you are looking for in bouquets, centerpieces, and installations.

The $50 consultation fee is to pay for the wedding consultants time of the appointment. The fee will be deducted from your final total if you decide to book your flowers or venue with us.

During the consultation we will discuss anything you want for your wedding. Including florals (i.e. boutonnieres, bouquets, centerpieces, etc), venue options, additional rental options, caterers, etc.

After the consultation the wedding consultant will draft a proposal and send it via email within xx days. The proposal is valid for 30 days. Within those 30 days you can make changes and corrections as needed. Once the proposal is approved, a $150 retainer fee is required to officially book Benken as your venue or floral provider.

We would love to see any reference photos, Pinterest boards you ave collected. We ask that you send any of these to our email at weddings@benkens.com ahead of the appointment. They will be put in your file as references when making your flowers.

We are equipped with plenty of references, examples, and ideas to help make your wedding day the best! Our goal is for your to leave the consultation feeling excited and knowledgable about what you will be receiving.

The process for an Oasis bride is similar to the traditional consultations. We still ask that you send us your inspiration photos and come to the appointment ready to discuss all your floral needs. Please see the Oasis brochure for more details.

We recommend you book your wedding flowers with us at least 6 months in advance or as soon as you know your wedding date and venue.

We recommend you book us as your venue at least a year in advance.

  • One initial consultation and a follow up appointment
  • Up to 200 total chairs – split between The Atrium and The Veranda if both are booked (additional chairs will be an additional charge)
  • 6 foot round tables, that seat up to 10, for your guest count
  • Rectangular tables for caterer use (appetizer, buffet, etc) and bartender use
  • Optional round sweetheart table
  • Linens (black, white, or ivory)
  • Banquet tables for the bar and catering
  • Event staff will setup and teardown rental items
  • 6 total hours of rental time
  • Free parking
  • Grounds access for photos other than restricted employee only areas
  • The event staff will assist in the placement of seating cards, table numbers, favors, guest book, cake knife, and toasting glasses, and floral arrangements
  • String lights! They will be turned on in the retail area, breezeway, The Atrium, and The Veranda

Rental Spaces

At Benken, we offer three unique rental areas for weddings and special events: the Outdoor Veranda, the Atrium, and the Celebration Room. Each package includes tables, chairs, linens, and catering banquet tables.

A covered 10,000 square foot space available from late June to October, accommodating up to 200 guests

A greenhouse with cathedral ceilings, perfect for winter events. It holds up to 150 guests and is available from January through March and June to December.

Ideal for smaller gatherings like bridal showers or meetings, accommodating up to 40 guests. Rental during business hours is $350 for 2 hours, with additional hours at $150 each.

If you want your fur baby as a ring bearer or flower girl, no problem!

You don’t have to book our venue to get the absolute best floral arrangements, we’ll deliver your bridal bouquets, centerpieces, and more on the day of!

The months of April and May are dedicated to providing our customers with a huge selection of home-grown annuals, perennials, and more. Meaning, we are unable to host events in the Atrium or the Veranda during those months. Celebration Room is still available for small parties.

We’ll host any of your special events! Birthdays, anniversaries, holiday parties, and more.

We know the facility inside and out and with our list of amazing caterers, we’ve got this thing figured out.

You can have your rehearsal and rehearsal dinner at Benken!

General

  • 1 golden arch – floral arrangements can be attached to arch

    • 151-200 guests = 2 required event staff + 1 additional event staff
