Need to Know

Here are some things you may not know about us:

If you want your fur baby as a ring bearer or flower girl, no problem!

You don’t have to book our venue to get the absolute best floral arrangements, we’ll deliver your bridal bouquets, centerpieces, and more on the day of!

The months of April and May are dedicated to providing our customers with a huge selection of home-grown annuals, perennials, and more. Meaning, we are unable to host events in the Atrium or the Veranda during those months. Celebration Room is still available for small parties.

we’ll host any of your special events! Birthdays, anniversaries, holiday parties, and more.

We know the facility inside and out and with our list of amazing caterers, we’ve got this thing figured out.

You can have your rehearsal and rehearsal dinner at Benken!

Rental Spaces

At Benken, we offer three unique rental areas for weddings and special events: the Outdoor Veranda, the Atrium, and the Celebration Room. Each package includes tables, chairs, linens, and catering banquet tables.

A covered 10,000 square foot space available from late June to October, accommodating up to 200 guests

A greenhouse with cathedral ceilings, perfect for winter events. It holds up to 150 guests and is available from January through March and June to December.

Ideal for smaller gatherings like bridal showers or meetings, accommodating up to 40 guests. Rental during business hours is $350 for 2 hours, with additional hours at $150 each.

Before you Book

  • A consultation with our Bridal team to go over all the details
  • A detailed quote
  • What’s included in the rental cost of The Atrium and/or The Veranda?
  • One initial consultation and a follow up appointment
  • Up to 200 total chairs – split between The Atrium and The Veranda if both are booked (additional chairs will be an additional charge) ???
  • 6 foot round tables, that seat up to 10, for your guest count
  • Rectangular tables for caterer use (appetizer, buffet, etc) and bartender use
  • Optional round sweetheart table
  • Linens (black, white, or ivory)
  • Banquet tables for the bar and catering
  • Event staff will setup and teardown rental items
  • 6 total hours of rental time
  • Free parking – no overnight parking or picked up by 11 am the next day?
  • Grounds access for photos other than restricted employee only areas
  • The event staff will assist in the placement of seating cards, table numbers, favors, guest book, cake knife, and toasting glasses, and floral arrangements – who will do this if you have a lot of stuff at end of night??
  • String lights! They will be turned on in the retail area, breezeway, The Atrium, and The Veranda

General

  • 1 golden arch – floral arrangements can be attached to arch
  • 1 white wooden pergola
  • White or gold pedestals
  • 6 black cocktail tables and linens
  • Gold display stands with vase holders – needs a better name
  • Stand-alone heaters for The Veranda
  • Extra tables for DJ, photobooth, or other outside vendors
  • An extra portable restroom
  • Houseplants or annuals for ceremony decoration, centerpieces, Buffet Table or other accents
  • Seasonal decor – i.e. pumpkins, wreaths, pinecones, etc.
  • The 2 required event staff and any additional event staff members for events with over 150 guests.
    • 0-150 guests = 2 required event staff
    • 151-200 guests = 2 required event staff + 1 additional event staff
  • Catering, alcohol, and bartenders
  • Photography/videography
  • Tableware – bowls, plates, cutlery, glassware, etc
  • Tents and portable restrooms
  • Additional lights, uplighting, strobe lighting,
