Kids Rock Painting Workshop

Let your kids unleash their creativity in this fun and engaging Painting Class! Led by Kathy Hyatt of Hyatt Art Studio, this hands-on class will guide your child through every step of the process—from selecting the perfect rocks, sketching their designs, and learning how to bring them to life using vibrant acrylic paint pens. Kathy will share tips and techniques to help each participant confidently paint their masterpiece.

We’ll finish off by sealing the designs with a glossy clear coat, and there’s even an option to embellish with glass beads for extra flair! Inspiration will be everywhere—sample rocks and idea photos will be available to spark creativity. Start your own “Kindness Rocks” garden and keep the fun going all summer long!

• Each participant will complete and take home at least 3 painted rocks
• You’ll also receive a list of class supplies so you can continue creating at home
• Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting paint on!
• Outdoor paint is used
• Open to ages 7 and up—yes, adults are welcome too! (Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.)
• $25 per painter
