Stained Glass Pumpkin Workshop
We are so excited to welcome back Laura Waligorski of The Glass Garden Club back for some more stained glass fun!
In this 2 hour workshop (taking place in our air-conditioned Celebration Room from 10am-noon), you’ll receive everything you need along with step by step instructions in order to create your very own stained glass cardinal – perfect for dressing up any plant!

Gather with us at the garden center for Blooms & Bites – a bouquet-building night with flavor on September 16th at 6 pm. Plus, Queen City Links will be in attendance for any of your permanent jewelry needs!
Our ticket structure is a bit different this time around – please select from the following options when purchasing your event spot:
A Bouquet Only ticket for this event includes an interactive night assembling a personalized floral bouquet at our bouquet bar – stocked with locally grown seasonal blooms.
A Bouquet Plus Wine ticket for this event includes an interactive night assembling a personalized floral bouquet at our bouquet bar – stocked with locally grown seasonal blooms – PLUS access to the Benken Bar that’ll be open all night serving up unlimited wine pours!
A Bouquet Plus Charcuterie ticket for this event includes an interactive night assembling a personalized floral bouquet at our bouquet bar – stocked with locally grown seasonal blooms and a personal charcuterie plate to enjoy while you hang out and create your summertime bouquet.

Celebrate the arrival of autumn by creating your very own seasonal container garden, perfect for welcoming guests all season long. Our designers will guide you step-by-step as you build a beautiful porch pot using a selection of homegrown fall favorites, including mums, pansies, ornamental cabbage, kale, and other seasonal accents.
Whether you’re an experienced gardener or planting your first container, this workshop is designed to be fun, creative, and approachable for everyone. You’ll leave with a custom fall planter that’s ready to brighten your porch, patio, or entryway throughout the season.

Greenhouse Yoga
Greenhouse Yoga is BACK by popular demand!
Start your weekend right with a 1-hour yoga routine amongst the plants!
Start your weekend right with a 1-hour yoga routine amongst the plants!
Stop by from 8-9am and instructor Kristen Bjerke will lead you through a yoga routine designed for all ages and skill levels. These yoga sessions are $10 and can be paid directly to Kristen via cash or venmo at the time of the event. All you need is your yoga mat and some water!

Floral Pumpkin
Celebrate the first days of fall with one of our favorite seasonal workshops! Join us during Benken’s annual Pumpkin Party for a fun, creative morning designing a fresh floral arrangement inside a real pumpkin.
We’ll provide each attendee with a pre-cut and hollowed-out pie pumpkin, then guide you step-by-step as you transform it into a beautiful autumn centerpiece. Your arrangement will feature a cheerful palette of orange, peach, pink, and burgundy blooms—perfect for adding a fresh touch to your fall tablescape, entryway, or gathering space.
Whether you’re a seasoned flower lover or trying floral design for the first time, this workshop is designed for all skill levels. After class, stick around and enjoy everything Pumpkin Party has to offer, including hayrides, seasonal activities, and plenty of fall fun throughout the garden center.

- One live pie pumpkin, pre-cut and prepared
