Stained Glass Cardinal Workshop
We are so excited to welcome back Laura Waligorski of The Glass Garden Club back for some more stained glass fun!
In this 2 hour workshop (taking place in our air-conditioned Celebration Room from 10am-noon), you’ll receive everything you need along with step by step instructions in order to create your very own stained glass cardinal – perfect for dressing up any plant!

Cyanotype Canvas Bag Workshop
Join us for our first-ever Cyanotype Tote Bag Workshop on Saturday, August 8th from 10:00am–12:00pm!
In this hands-on two-hour experience, you’ll learn the fascinating art of cyanotype printing—a historic photographic process that uses sunlight to create stunning blue-and-white botanical impressions.
Each participant will receive a canvas tote bag to personalize using a collection of fresh floral stems, foliage, and natural materials. Our instructors will guide you through the cyanotype process from start to finish, helping you create a one-of-a-kind functional work of art to take home.
Whether you’re a seasoned creative or simply looking to try something new, this workshop offers a fun and relaxing way to explore nature-inspired art while spending a morning at Benken.
All materials are included. No experience necessary.

Greenhouse Yoga is BACK by popular demand!
Start your weekend right with a 1-hour yoga routine amongst the plants!
Start your weekend right with a 1-hour yoga routine amongst the plants!
Stop by from 8-9am and instructor Kristen Bjerke will lead you through a yoga routine designed for all ages and skill levels. These yoga sessions are $10 and can be paid directly to Kristen via cash or venmo at the time of the event. All you need is your yoga mat and some water!
