Let your kids unleash their creativity in this fun, hands-on Mini Fence Picket Painting Class! Led by Kathy Hyatt of Hyatt Art Studio, this engaging workshop will guide your child through every step—from sketching out ideas to choosing the right brush to complete them. Kathy will share helpful tips and techniques to build confidence and bring each masterpiece to life.

Kathy Hyatt, from Hyatt Art Studio, will predraw the owl shape and lead them step by step through the process.  Your kids will string their own hanger and add glass beads to their paintings too!  Parents may sign up to paint or run some errands for these 90 minutes!  

• Each participant will complete and take home their own painted mini fence picket
• A class supply list will be provided so you can keep the creativity going at home
• Open to ages 7 and up—and yes, adults are welcome too!
• 1 picket each – with endless possibilities and embellishments to choose from!
• Outdoor paint used
• Wear paint-friendly clothes!

Benken is excited to welcome Jess Costantini of Beautiful Orange Productions to lead a mini macrame plant hanger workshop on August 13th at 6pm! 

In this class, Jess will walk you through the steps of crafting your very own plant hanger out of macrame cord – perfect for hanging in a window or from your rear view mirror! Participants will each receive a small faux plant in mini pot to complete in their masterpiece!
