Retail Garden Center

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: watering plants, cashiering, unpacking plant shipments, restocking benches, maintaining plant health and attractiveness, assisting customers, carryout, loading cars, assisting in displays and other duties as assigned by management. This position reports to the Garden Center Manager. Hours will vary. Weekends a must. Applicants must be able to physically lift up to 40 pounds, remain standing for long periods of time and continually bend and lift objects. This is an outdoor position that is subject to the weather conditions at that time.

Greenhouse Production

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: watering plants, spacing plants, planting, maintaining plant health and attractiveness, restocking benches and other duties as assigned by management. This position reports to the Head Grower. Hours will vary. Weekends a must. Applicants must be able to physically lift up to 40 pounds, push and pull large carts, remain standing for long periods of time and continually bend and lift objects. This is an outdoor position which is subject to the weather conditions at that time.

Nursery Sales

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: watering plants, assisting customers with selecting the right plant, displaying product, unloading plant shipments, pricing plant material, maintaining plant health and attractiveness and other duties as assigned by management. This position reports to the Nursery Manager. Hours will vary. Weekends a must. Applicants should have a working knowledge of trees, shrubs and perennials. You should be able to physically lift up to 40 pounds, remain standing for long periods of time and continually bend and lift objects. This is an outdoor position which is subject to the weather conditions at that time.

Landscape / Mowing Technicians

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: landscape maintenance, installation, spring clean ups, mulching, mowing and other duties as assigned by management. Position is generally a Monday through Friday position. Some weekend work may occur. Ideal candidates will have been a mowing foreman who will landscape 3 days a week and mow 2 days week. Applicants should be physically fit and clean cut. A clean driving record is a must for insurance purposes.

Phone Sales

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: answering incoming phone calls, order entry, assisting with accounts payable, assisting with design department, basic office duties and other duties as assigned by management. This position reports to the Sales Manager. Hours will vary. Applicants should have excellent inter-personal, computer and organizational skills.
